We have encountered a number of stumbling blocks in the process of improving all of our products. The engineers at the factory tell us that we will have prototypes of both the 15 liter Dinuba Water cylinder container and the two new Jerry Cans by the end of September. I continue to monitor their progress and review the product components as they are produced. We are getting close. I will post images of all the products as soon as the prototypes arrive. In the meanwhile, here are some of the changes we are making.

Cylinder Container, 15 liter

The container will be double walled. This will add insulating value to the container and eliminate sweating.
The handles will be much more secure with internal reinforcement instead of spot welded.
The container neck will be shorter and smoother to improve esthetics.
All welds will be made with a laser for smoother and stronger welds with no other metal filler.
The stainless steel has been upgraded to 304L which has a lower carbon content and is even more rust resistant, especially at the welds.
The spigot has been improved for smoother function and better longevity.

Jerry Can

There are two new models, one with a removable lid for easier cleaning.
All folded or overlap welds have been changed to butt welds. Butt welds are very smooth and much easier to clean.
All welds will be made with a laser for smoother and stronger welds with no other metal filler.
The stainless steel has been upgraded to 304L which has a lower carbon content and is even more rust resistant, especially at the welds.
The bottom of the container will be more smooth and rounded.
The model with the removable lid will have an insert for a spigot low on its side so it can be used to dispense water while standing upright.
